Fall Job/Career Fairs

The Fall Job/Career Fair at the Main Campus in Gallatin will feature a rolling Career Coach bus from the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development. The bus will have computers and office equipment available to help job seekers.  The fair provides an opportunity for job seekers to talk directly with the people responsible for hiring at many area companies. Participants are encouraged to bring their resumes. Dozens of area employers will be on site. Career Coach Mark Myers will lead breakout sessions titled "Uncovering the Hidden Job Market with a Targeted Search.” The breakout sessions will be held at 10:10 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. Participants should sign up at www.volstate.edu/careerfair.

The Main Campus Job/Fall Job Career Fair is free and open to all job seekers. It will be held in the gym at the Pickel Field House on Wednesday, September 26 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information call 615-230-3307 or visit www.volstate.edu/Placement

Meanwhile, Highland Crest is hosting it's first Job/Career Fair this year. It will be held on September 17 and 18 from 10am to 2pm in the Community Room. It's a partnership with the Tennessee Career Center.
