Summer Construction Advisory

Summer is almost here...well, summer semester anyway. That means the Vol State campus will be undergoing several construction projects. The project shown above is moving data and fiber wiring, in part to make it easier for crews to work in the area around Wood and Ramer for an upcoming project. Here's the summer list:

  • The Warf building will get all new HVAC (heating and air-conditioning) systems starting in May with all classes and faculty offices moving to other buildings.
  • The Library Learning Commons work will begin in May, after graduation.
  • Construction work will begin for the new Allied Health Building parking lot.
  • The Allied Health Building project itself will break ground late this summer.
  • Landscape improvements to the area between Ramer, Caudill, and Wood will add new seating and spruce up the area.
  • Repaving the bus stop loop road. At times this will require closing the A and B lots starting in May.
  • Numerous exterior ADA improvements will take place throughout campus.
